A brief about me,

Ambikeshwar Katoch

I started my schooling in Dharamsala [ the town where His Holiness The Dalai Lama resides ] in my mothers school.

I shifted in the first grade to my current school DPS International Delhi. Here I am studying the IGCSE curriculum and have just finished my ninth grade and have passed into the 10th grade. I am currently pursuing the following subjects First Language English, Economics, Math, Hindi, Information Technology, History and Geography.

In my school I regularly participate in MUN's, debates, dramatics.

I am the Captain of my schools Cricket team.

I have played Cricket at the Rajasthan District level. I was selected for the under-14 Rajasthan State Cricket camp. In 2013 my district team Dholpur was runner's up in the Rajasthan under-16 district

I am a blue belt-1 in Taekwondo.

I won a gold medalist in Equestrian Dressage.

I am training under Mr. P.S Sodhi [India Shooting team coach] in the Olympic discipline of Single Trap Shooting.

In my free time I pursue the following hobbies: Dancing [ Ashley Lobo Dance school ], deep sea diving [ certified open water diver ], Chess and drums.

Achievements

  • Apart from receiving certificates in professional riding (Dressage), contemporary dance from Ashley Lobo Danceworx and a red belt in Taekwondo. I am also a certified advanced open water diver from Scuba Schools International.

  • 2015, October 15th Won the Delhi State shooting championships (2 Gold’s in Men’s and Junior Double trap event, 1 Gold in the Junior Trap and 1 Silver in the Men’s Trap).
  • 2015, July 17th Interned with the Tibetan Prime Minister’s office and researched about how a government functions in exile.
